Some aspects of the fashion industry haven’t been great for the planet. The trend towards disposable ‘fast fashion’ has been a big global contributor to pollution and water-wastage.
We’re here to be part of the solution – by promoting a ‘circular’ fashion economy that puts clothes back where they belong: on people, not in the bin.
At some point in my life, I found a good chunk of my wardrobe was full of clothes I no longer wore. Clothes I loved and had great memories of – even if they’d maybe only been worn once or twice – and which now just sat there, like a roomful of expensive nostalgia.
I imagined a community where all of us could give these styles a new lease on life. Where we’d help each other look and feel fabulous. Where we’d save money and be sustainable – and look good doing it.
I imagined Trunk, and then I built it.
